About the song
A thunderous hymn that travels across continents and faiths, where every prayer rises through the same eternal sky. Through the streets of Jerusalem, Rome, Istanbul and Tokyo, one truth burns brighter than the storms — divine power moves through every soul that dares to remember it.
In the story
Power does not destroy. It steadies and lifts.
Lyrics
In the silence where the darkness lay,
Whispers of doubt tried to steal my way,
But a flicker in my soul ignites the fight,
With every breath, I chase the light.
Let the power of God illuminate the night,
Raise my spirit, let faith take flight,
In the glow of truth, I’ll stand so tall,
With light in my heart, I can conquer it all.
Shadows creeping, casting chains of fear,
But I hear a voice, so crystal clear,
It calls me onward, through the stormy skies,
With a heart of steel, I will rise, I’ll rise.
Let the power of God illuminate the night,
Raise my spirit, let faith take flight,
In the glow of truth, I’ll stand so tall,
With light in my heart, I can conquer it all.
So I’ll let the past slip into the fire,
Transform my soul with unyielding desire,
Negative thoughts, I cast them aside,
In this journey of light, I won’t hide, I won’t hide.
In the silence where the darkness lay,
I found the strength, I found the way,
With the power of light coursing through me,
I am free, oh, I am free.
