Lyrics · Spark of God · Track 12
Raining Stars
Raining stars, burning bright, healing scars, every spark a gift from God.
About the song
The closing prayer of Spark of God, sung under a sky that opens wide while rivers of fire streak the velvet night. Raining stars, burning bright, healing scars, every spark a gift from God. Every flicker a reason to keep moving on, and a thank you sent back to the stars.
In the story
We are one with God. Mesia is the question and the answer. We are fragments of the infinite, and the stars fall like gifts.
Lyrics
Sky opens wide heavy breath of the night
Rivers of fire streak the black velvet light
I stand still while the heavens break apart
Raining stars raining stars
Burning bright healing scars
Every spark a gift from God
Raining stars raining stars
Feet on the ground but my soul's in the air
Electric whispers I can feel everywhere
Every flicker a reason to keep moving on
Raining stars raining stars
Burning bright healing scars
Every spark a gift from God
Raining stars raining stars
Fall on me I’ll catch your flame
Wash away my old refrain
Every blaze a new refrain
Raining stars I lift my eyes
Burning trails cut through the skies
Each one tells me where I’ve been
Glowing bright against the din
Every spark a gift that flies
Thank you stars for lighting lives
Raining stars raining stars
Burning bright healing scars
Every spark a gift from God
Raining stars raining stars
