Lyrics
They broke you down they cut you deep
Left you in shadows where you couldn’t sleep
But the fire’s still burning inside your chest
Not hate not rage just a holy quest
Forgive your enemies show them the way
To the truth and the light where the lost can stay
Turn them to the light let the darkness fall
Through the truth and God there's a path for all
You hold the scars but you hold the key
To break their chains and set them free
Don’t carry the weight of their bitter stone
Show them a world they’ve never known
Forgive your enemies show them the way
To the truth and the light where the lost can stay
Turn them to the light let the darkness fall
Through the truth and God there's a path for all
What’s the cost of hate when love’s the cure
What’s the fight for pain when peace is pure
They’ll see the truth in your steady hand
A brighter road to a promised land
Forgive your enemies show them the way
To the truth and the light where the lost can stay
Turn them to the light let the darkness fall
Through the truth and God there's a path for all
