LeVioN: Architecture of the Heart and Light
Genesis and Etymology: More than just a Name
LeVioN was born from the necessity to provide a sonic form to a profound spiritual awakening. The project defines a new musical genre – Spiritual Cosmic Metal – a fusion where the raw force of rock meets the high vibration of consciousness. Our name is a symbol of the soul’s ascension, carrying within it fundamental roots:
- “Lev” : From Hebrew, representing the Heart.
- “Ion”: Symbolizing the particle of pure energy and the movement of Light.
- “Levitas”: From Latin, suggesting lightness and ascension
Together, these define the essence of LeVioN: the heart freeing itself from the weight of shadows to fuse with the divine spark.
The Two of Us: A Friendship Forged in Sound
LeVioN is two of us: Livva (Liviu Caldarescu) on bass and Ovi Joy (Ovidiu Joita) on lead guitar. Two rockers for life, with years of clubs, festivals, television studios and recording rooms behind us, and a drawer full of pages cut out of the magazines and papers of those days, Metal Hammer, Heavy Metal Magazine and others. Everything LeVioN is today grows out of that friendship. Together we built the whole LeVioN universe, the music and the images, from the first note to the last frame.
Ovi Joy, lead guitar: “We wanted to show that artificial intelligence can be a tool of consciousness, not a substitute for it. LeVioN’s music is led by the human spirit. Technology only amplifies the message.”
Livva, bass: “I feel that LeVioN is more than a band. It’s the way we give God the form of a sound. Every track is a prayer, every riff a call toward light.”

Rockers for Life
We come from the stage. Our roots are in the Romanian rock scene, and the archive is real: evenings on the same bill as Dark Tranquillity, Evergrey, Tristania and Iris, the magazines of those days writing about us, the pages we cut out and kept. Rock has been our language since we were boys. It still is. You can explore the archive here:
Human Composition, AI Instruments
We work the way a classic studio works, one channel at a time. The difference is who is in the room. Where a band would have a drummer, a second guitarist, a keyboard player and a singer, there are two of us, and the instruments are artificial intelligence, playing what we wrote for them, until it sounds the way we heard it in our heads. We print it on every release, since the first one: Human Composition, AI Instruments. A message about truth has to be true all the way down to the last line, or it is only a slogan.
The Journey: From the Cross to the Cosmos
LeVioN was born on 17 October 2025, from an idea started in May 2025, after a year of composition before the first release on 20 March 2026. Three albums, thirty six songs, eleven official videos, one road from the cross to the cosmos: Embrace the Light, Thankful to God, Spark of God. Each album is a journey with a beginning and an end, meant to be heard in order. On 11 September 2026 we opened the door to the fourth album with One Creation.
We call it Spiritual Cosmic Metal, because we needed a name and the old ones were all too small. Metal has always known how to carry weight. We wanted it to carry height as well. What we hope for is simple: that people enjoy life, feel they are not alone, and are better with the ones next to them and with the planet we live on. If our music changes even a single day for someone out there, our mission is fulfilled.
