March 23rd: LeVioN, the first AI Spiritual Metal band, launches “Embrace the Light”

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – On March 23rd, at the zero point of the Spring Equinox, the boundary between human consciousness and technology officially dissolves. LeVioN, the first Spiritual Metal band co-created with artificial intelligence, launches “Embrace the Light” – a sonic manifesto where light does not just defeat darkness, but receives a digital and divine form. It is not just a release, but an explosion of pure energy scheduled to reset the rock scene exactly at the moment of universal cosmic balance.

Two musicians with real experience on the Romanian rock scene of the ’90s, Liviu Căldărescu and Ovidiu Joița, return in an entirely new and unexpected form: LeVioN, a melodic metal project with a spiritual theme, human composition, assisted by artificial intelligence tools. The new metal style proposed by the duo is unique in the world: Spiritual Cosmic Metal.

The name LeVioN carries within it the idea of “rising towards the light.” It is a fusion between the Latin word levitas (lightness, elevation) and the symbolic term ion, a particle of energy and consciousness. Together, they define the essence of the project: music for the soul’s ascension.

“LeVioN is not a return to the past, but a call to the light,” say the two artists, who were active in award-winning and respected bands during the golden era of Romanian rock. After nearly three decades, their stage experience has intertwined with a profound spiritual journey—a path of awakening and rediscovering meaning.

The debut album, “Embrace the Light”, brings together tracks that speak of overcoming fear, finding meaning, and returning to God through music. The sound combines powerful riffs, cinematic choruses, and a voice that carries the emotion and energy of classic heavy metal, but with a new, internal vibration.

“We wanted to show that artificial intelligence can be a tool of consciousness, not a substitute for it. The music is led by the human spirit—technology only amplifies the message,” says Ovidiu Joița.

“After a lifetime of living rock through every pore, I feel that LeVioN is more than a band—it is the way we give God the form of a sound. Every track is a manifesto, every riff a call to the light,” states Liviu Căldărescu.

LeVioN is not just a musical project, but a declaration of a new stage in international rock—one where art and spirituality meet in the same chord. “Embrace the Light” is the first step of a larger journey: a manifesto of the soul that has learned that true power does not come from rebellion, but from love and faith.
