Lyrics · Embrace the Light · Track 12
The Truth Behind the Myth
The truth behind the myth it cuts it bleeds
About the song
A haunting reflection on the dust of crumbling statues and the hollow stories we are sold. It challenges the soul to look past the rusted crowns of heroes to find what is truly real in the eye of the storm.
In the story
The final truth is revealed. Illusions fall. Only light and authenticity remain.
Lyrics
Statues crumble dust in the air
The hero's face no longer there
What did they sell you what did you buy
A perfect story built on a lie
The truth behind the myth it cuts it bleeds
Shatters all the golden deeds
What’s real what’s fake what’s left to see
The truth behind the myth is haunting me
Words carved deep but they don’t mean a thing
Legends hollow like a broken ring
Whispers grow loud shadows take form
What’s sacred now in the eye of the storm
The truth behind the myth it cuts it bleeds
Shatters all the golden deeds
What’s real what’s fake what’s left to see
The truth behind the myth is haunting me
Every crown is heavy rusted sharp
Every hero’s heart torn apart
Every story ends where it began
What’s the point what’s the plan
The truth behind the myth it cuts it bleeds
Shatters all the golden deeds
What’s real what’s fake what’s left to see
The truth behind the myth is haunting me
